Who we are

Students getting each other through the curriculum

DONAT is the ICT student organisation at STI College Ortigas-Cainta, founded in 2016 to help students through the ICT programme.

It began as peer mentorship: the students who had already cleared a subject sat down with the ones who were stuck on it. That is still the centre of the club. Around it we now run workshops, inter-school competitions and expos, and members take on projects with the club itself as the client.

Three branches split the work by what you want to get good at — interfaces, records, or systems. You pick one when you join, and nobody expects you to arrive already knowing it.

Branches

The three branches

You join one of them. They do different work, and the club needs all three to put on anything at all.

Front-end · UI/UX · Graphic Design

Munchkin

Front-end layout artists who practice art, UI/UX, and graphic design. Munchkin crafts how every digital surface and visual asset looks and feels, bringing balance, harmony, and polished aesthetics to club projects.

Analytics · Documentation · Research

Prober

Data analysts who handle analytics, research, event documentation, and organizational records — ensuring data integrity, tracking attendance, and keeping club operations structured.

Back-end · Systems · Architecture

Cipher

Back-end specialists and technical experts who build and maintain club projects, services, and infrastructure — engineering the core systems, databases, and APIs that power DONAT.

Once you are in

What membership gets you

Three things, on the phone you already carry.

  • Your digital pass

A QR code that belongs to you. An officer scans it at the door, it is spent, and the portal issues you a fresh one — so a screenshot someone else took is worth nothing.

  • Your attendance history

Every event you were scanned into, with the date, in one list. No more asking an officer whether you were marked present.

  • The calendar and announcements

What is coming up and what changed, posted by the officers to the same place you keep your pass.
